Dr. Thrasher received his Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1995, with a major in Genetics.  After graduating, he continued his education at the Medical College of Georgia and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2001. Dr. Thrasher performed his internship and residency at Atlanta Medical Center (formerly Georgia Baptist Hospital). His primary specialty is Internal Medicine, and Dr. Thrasher also has extensive training in cardiology and geriatric medicine. 

Dr. Thrasher is a member in good standing with the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Association of Georgia.

Dr. Thrasher was born and raised in Atlanta and is an active member of the community.  He is a board member with Georgia Watch, a non-profit consumer watchdog organization and often volunteers his time and medical expertise when needed.  Dr. Thrasher is passionate about his patients’ health and works tirelessly to ensure each and every patient receives outstanding care.

Dr. Thrasher is not currently seeing patients, but continues to be active in the practice as the Principal Administrator and Manager. He expects to return to the full-time practice of medicine in late 2013 or early 2014.
